Following my FUE procedure with Dr. Jones I used GraftCyte to aid and increase post-operative healing and DermMatch as a cover up for the scar. I recommend both of these products.

Graftcyte

Graftcyte products are specifically designed for hair transplant patients. The products are used post transplant to optimize the healing environment by keeping the area moist with a copper peptide solution, thus increasing healing rate and improving patient comfort. The very nice leather bag contains a concentrated spray, moist bandages, a donor area hydrating gel, shampoo and conditioner. The bandages are applies morning and night for the first few days for about twenty minutes at a time. They contain the copper peptide solution that keeps the area moist which encourages earlier scab loss, likewise the spray is applied every hour. The donor area hydrating gel helps keep this area comfortable whilst healing and the shampoo and conditioner are both good.

I previously experienced loss of scabs at about 7 - 10 days but with graftcyte this was reduced to about 5 days. This product will help people who need to return to public life shortly after surgery.

DermMatch

DermMatch is a hair coloured concealer that is very effective in covering up sparse areas after surgery. The product is supplied in a small, circular plastic container and is applied with a small foam tipped applicator. It is very easy to apply. The company produces many shades so it is easy to get a good match either directly or by mixing. The product works best on smaller areas with acceptable hair growth however it did help disguise my scar shortly after surgery.
